Meghan Scott
I'm an electro-acoustic composer and music producer, currently pursuing an MFA in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago. My journey began at 14, and by 17, I was certain that music was my lifelong path. In college, I specialized in Electro-acoustic Music and minored in Film, Television, and Digital Media. Along the way, I delved into musical storytelling, attending workshops like Palomar Film Music and NYU Screen Scoring. My internship with Bruce Faulconer provided hands-on experience in score preparation and orchestration. At Columbia, I collaborated closely with esteemed professors, honing skills in synth programming, MIDI mockups, and score preparation using various tools like Logic Pro, ProTools, and more. My music aims for boldness, embracing experimentation to craft unique, immersive experiences that uplift hearts and inspire creativity.
